The Special Information Service for Jewish Studies provides researchers with information and resources from all fields of Jewish Studies and Israel Studies. We offer access to both freely available and licensed resources. Through our catalogue you can explore the holdings of the Judaica division at the University Library Frankfurt am Main, including our Digital Collections.
The FID Jewish Studies is a collaboration between the University Library at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and the Hochschule Mannheim, funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation).

The DFG established the funding program » Specialised Information Services for Science to enable researchers in Germany and from all disciplines to access specialised literature and relevant research information as quickly and directly as possible, regardless of where they are working.

Specialised Information Service for Jewish Studies - What are we offering?
The FID Jewish Studies is based at the University Library Frankfurt am Main, which holds the largest » Hebraica and Judaica collection in Germany. In cooperation with the Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart, the FID Jewish Studies develops new tools to enhance the accessibility of resources and information for all researchers in Jewish Studies and Israel Studies.
While the FID offers resources freely accessible to all, licensed resources require a registration and are restricted to researchers based in Germany.
