FID Jewish Studies Funding extended
JULY 2022 -
The German Research Foundation (DFG) has approved the third project phase of the Specizialized Information Service (FID) for Jewish Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main
The three-year project phase will be funded with 1.6 Million Euros and enables the FID Jewish Studies to further develop its service for researchers in all fields of Jewish Studies, including Israel Studies, for scholar from other fields of the Humanities and Social Sciences engaged in research on Judaism and Jewish life in the past and the present, and for museums, archives and libraries with relevant Herbaria and Judaica collections. Providing access to literature, sources and digital databases will continue to be a key feature of the FIDs work.
The FID for Jewish Studies is a collaboration between the University Library at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and Professor Dr. Kai Eckert from the Hochschule für Medien Stuttgart.
