| Description: | The German psychoanalyst Alexander Mitscherlich (1908-1982) founded in 1960 the Sigmund Freud Institute in Frankfurt. He remained the institute's director until 1976, and from 1973 to 1976 was on the faculty of philosophy at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt. In 1982 Margarete Mitscherlich-Nielsen handed over the records to the Stadt- und Universitätsbibliothek. |
