| Description: | For long years, Klaus Horn (1934-1985) was head of the department of Social Psychology at the
Sigmund-Freud-Institut in Frankfurt and Professor at the University of Frankfurt. As a student of
Horkheimer and Adorno, Horn developed a psychoanalytically oriented approach to social psychology,
which has become known under the name of "Critical Theory of the Subject". He was a
founding member and the chair of the workgroup "Political Psychology" within the Deutsche
Vereinigung für Politische Wissenschaft (German Union for Political Science). In 1999 the Sigmund-Freud-Institut handed the records over to the Stadt- und Universitätsbibliothek. |
