- entrance via the special collections reading room
The majority of the items are housed in the closed stacks and have to be ordered online or by filling out a request form one day in advance.
Because of this, out-of-town visitors should inquire the books in advance and contact the department by telephone or e-mail.
If visitors wish to view valuable items, they may be required to present personal identification. Please, also note the general information under All about using the Library.
For out-of-town users - interlibrary loan, document delivery services, copy orders
Of course, you can order loanable items housed by the Department of Music and Theatre in your own library via interlibrary loan or using document delivery services such as Subito .
In many cases, it is not possible to borrow original items via interlibrary loan!
You can order reproductions for a fee (payable in advance if over 50 euro). Fees can be found in the Fees for Special Services.
Additional service offered by the Department:
- Reproductions of historical material housed by the Department
- Guided tours in a particular field
