Git@GU – University Library GitHub and GitLab services

GitHub and GitLab are used at Goethe University as platforms for collaborative software development, the versioning of research artefacts, as well as for teaching and research projects. The services described here are aimed at students, researchers and staff at the University and are aimed in particular at supporting:

• collaboration in research and teaching projects
• the development and publication of research software
• the implementation of Open Science and Open Source principles

The GitHub and GitLab service is currently under development.
