HeFDI Code School

The HeFDI Code School aims to help (early-career) researchers write good scientific software and demonstrates how the reusability and reproducibility of source code can be improved. The workshops are offered in collaboration with colleagues from the Suresoft project and NFDI4Ing.

HeFDI Data School

The HeFDI Data School offers cross-disciplinary and cross-location training courses for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. Participants can choose from both introductory basic modules as well as specialised modules focusing on specific areas of research data management.

NFDI events

The various consortia of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) organise a wide range of events focusing on specific aspects of research data management. These events cover a multitude of topics, including data management plans, data processing techniques, interdisciplinary isssues, networking and much more.

Network & Community


We actively promote networking between central and distributed data stewards at GU, as well as collaboration with external partners. The aim is to foster a vibrant community of practice where experiences, templates and best practices are shared.
